Each week, in my art class I strive to come up with new and interesting ideas. For the last few class sessions I have been working on a crown made from chicken wire, feathers, cardboard and glops of glitter. Today I decided I was finally done with it.

At a landfill near my house, there is actual whimsical beauty to be found. A heart shaped castle, a yellow brick road, glittering mosaic tiles against concrete and gorgeous views of the San Francisco skyline.
A few friends and I dressed up to play outdoors one lovely afternoon under the winter sun.
